Université Paris Cité and the University of Toronto are joining forces to launch their first call for proposals to support collaborative research initiatives.

Objectives

The aim of the fund is to provide initial support for the development of research links and catalyze further collaboration.

Eligibility

A proposal must include a PI from UPCité and University of Toronto, and at least one other researcher on each team. We encourage early career researchers (ECRs) to apply. All the details can be found in the call for proposals.

Application process

This is a joint call and a single application must be submitted on the OVPI Application Portal.

Timeline

Applicants must submit an intention to apply by May 3, 2024 through this link. Those who are unable to meet this deadline must request and receive approval from their university international relations contacts before submitting a final application.

The deadline for submission is on May 13th 2024 (11:59 (EST/CAN, 16h59 (ECT/FR))

[FIRE Call for applications] Meet our PhD students FIRE!

The Frontières de l’Innovation en Recherche et Éducation (FIRE) Doctoral School is an international and interdisciplinary PhD program accredited by the Université Paris Cité (UPCité) and co-accredited by the Université Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL).
FIRE welcomes students who are passionate about contributing to Planetary Health and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It hosts research projects that often fall outside the scope of traditional doctoral schools due to their unconventional and cross-disciplinary nature. We interviewed three of our PhD students, who shared their thesis topics, explained why they chose the FIRE doctoral school, and offered advice for the next cohort.
