Entry Requirements: For direct enrolment into the Master 2 (M2) :
Completion of a Master 1 (M1) degree or enrolment in the M1 of the same parcours (track) at UPCité
Equivalent Degree (Bac+4 / four-year degree or 240 ECTS credits): Direct admission to M2 is selective

Language pre-requisites: French Language Requirement (for courses in French) : B2 to C1 (TCF, DELF/DALF)
English Language Requirement (for courses in English) : B2 to (IELTS, TOEFL iBT, Cambridge English, TOEIC, etc.)

Course overview

The Cardiovascular Sciences specialisation (M2SC – formerly BiVATH) provides multidisciplinary training that integrates all levels of research: from fundamental approaches to the latest clinical developments in the cardiovascular field. These courses enable students to acquire knowledge of the cellular and molecular mechanisms of haemostasis, physiology and cardiovascular pathology. The courses also cover the main technical and technological innovations for the study of cardiovascular diseases. The M2SC specialisation also allows students to join internationally renowned laboratories in the cardiovascular field.

  • Proficiency in the physiological and pathological concepts of cardiovascular biology and haemostasis

  • Proficiency in the critical analysis of scientific literature, promoting argumentation and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in all stages of conducting a scientific research project.
