IdEx Communication guidelines

Mentioning IdEx support in the communication of funded actions helps measure impact and highlights the contribution of IdEx to the university’s activities. Here are the current recommendations and rules.

Beyond funding, the IdEx label is an important guarantee of attractiveness in the eyes of students and researchers in France, Europe, and around the world.

Project Leaders, You Have a Role to Play!

As leaders of projects funded by IdEx, you will contribute to the influence and renown of UPCité. To this end, we ask you to ensure compliance with a number of best practices in communication.

Logos and labels

The presence of official logos on all materials produced as part of the project, whether digital or printed, is a moral and contractual obligation.

These include:

  • The IdEx Université Paris Cité logo;
  • The France 2030 logo;
  • The mention “ANR-18-IDEX-0001, IdEx Université Paris Cité”.

In addition, the logos of all involved partners, whether or not they are members of the StratEx steering committee, must also be present.

  1. Your project is led by Université Paris Cité alone. Your materials must include the IdEx logo, the France 2030 logo, and the university’s logo.
  2. Your project is coordinated by Université Paris Cité and involves a partner university, whether or not it is a member of the IdEx consortium/StratEx Steering Committee. Your materials must include the IdEx logo, the France 2030 logo, the Université Paris Cité logo, and the partner’s logo.
Scientific Publications
Mention of IdEx support must appear in the acknowledgments of publications, for example with the following sentence: “This project has received funding from the France 2030 investment plan, through an endowment from IdEx Université Paris Cité ANR-18-IDEX-0001” The elements in bold must be included in the formulation used, as this is a contractual obligation required by the State.

Optimal Information Flow:The actions you lead will be communicated through the university’s various channels. To ensure effective communication, you are asked to inform the Communication Department of any relevant information.

Examples include :

  • Major advances in your projects;
  • Media inquiries;
  • Organization or participation in conferences;
  • Production of documents (posters, flyers, PowerPoint presentations);
  • Creation of a website;
  • Invitations to foreign universities;
  • Emblematic scientific publications;
  • Awards or recognitions.

Furthermore, as project leaders, you may be asked to be photographed and to give interviews. Through your involvement, the entire Université Paris Cité community, as well as the research organizations and partner institutions of the IdEx consortium, will benefit from the university’s influence.
