EIDD’s ambition is to train engineers with a global perspective on the systems they design, oversee, or control—engineers who are aware of ecological and societal challenges and capable of working in an intercultural context.
Integrated into the academic life of the university and engaged in civic initiatives, EIDD values each of its students, fostering a rich and inclusive environment on its open urban campus. With comprehensive and personalized support, every student enjoys the best conditions to succeed and thrive.

Located in the heart of the Grands Moulins campus, near the François Mitterrand National Library, the school offers a generalist engineering program with a systems orientation. The curriculum is structured into five specializations.
Three focus on the hardware aspects of systems—Physical Engineering, Materials and Nanotechnology, and Biomedical Engineering—while two are centered on the software dimension of systems—Bioinformatics and Embedded Computer Systems.
EIDD’s pedagogical support and competency-based approach ensure optimal employability for both students and alumni across various sectors, including information and communication technology services, as well as industries such as energy, semiconductors, transportation, aerospace, and healthcare.
