In anticipation of International Mother Language Day, our university, through its European alliance Circle U., is organising a festival of languages and cultures from the 16th to 20th of February 2026. Calligraphy workshops, language lessons… Join us online and on your campuses to discover all the activities!

Programme of the week
Organised by the Circle U. Multilingualism, Interculturality & Language Lab (CU.mil), the language festival offers several online and in-person activities open to the entire UPCité community.
Online activities
On the 16th of February, the language festival will kick off at 12 noon, followed by a tour of the Circle U. university campuses and their culture at 3 p.m.
Throughout the week, from 16 to 20 February, join us online for:
• Introductory sessions in German, Italian, Russian, Korean, French as a foreign language, Mandarin, Spanish, Serbian, Norwegian, and Danish!
• Language cafés
Activities on the campuses of Université Paris Cité
The language department, the EILA faculty, the DEG faculty and the Circle U team at Paris Cité University invite you to attend calligraphy workshops, language cafés, language introductions and various games and musical activities, which will be held on:
• 17 February from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in room 105 on the Grands Moulins campus in the Olympe de Gouges building
• 18 February from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in room 240 on the Grands Moulins campus in the Olympe de Gouges building
• 19 February from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Cartou room on the Malakoff site
